JORDAN CANTY'S
GRAPHIC DESIGN PORTFOLIO
DOUBLE EXPOSURES
These double exposures are meant to express different elements of the world we live in. With an array of portrait shots I have taken over time, I tend to match the mood of the portrait with an element that defines it. These type of creations are unlimited!
WASH4U
The unique, sleek but simple style for this design is for a washing machine company. I realized a lot of washing companies used primarily blue which can captures the clients attention. The best part of this creation to me was making the Statue of Liberty which really pivots it towards NYC.
LETTER/NUMBER PORTRAITS
These bold letter portraits are popping images of each individual representing the first letter in their name. Each one is unique in their own way showing some characteristics defining them.
GOTTI BROS. PIZZA MENU
This design project was to create a menu for a restaurant. Pizza is one of my favorite things to eat so I thought why not create my very own pizzeria menu. The cover for the menu has bricks on the background to simply define brick-oven pizza. The best part to this project to me was creating the flames because I had to really think how I could make this logo really pop and then the flame with the half circle idea came to my head. I gave the pizzeria an Italian type of vibe with the name “Gotti Bros.” The menu listing has a variety of food to choose from as you would regularly see on a pizza menu.
FAITH IN ROBOTS
For my capstone project I created a robot servicing company called Faith In Robots.
for the solution FIR will be able to assist you with your side needs and objectives that you would need more than 24 hours in a day. Most of the time when we come home we automatically think about going straight to bed so we can relax, knowing that once we go to sleep we have to wake up and repeat our daily objectives. FIR will be there waiting for your instructions on how to create a more easy going life for you. With FIR, life will be much more enjoyable. Weather its getting food shopping out the way, taking the time to clean the house spotless and even able to organize your work, FIR will take care of it.
DOUBLE CROSS BOOK COVER
This design is based off the book by James Paterson called double cross. The objective of this project was
to re create a book cove of your choice. Once I found out the synopsis of the book, I instantly thought
about how many ways and different designs I can make to display “double cross”. I didn’t want it to be a
lot of visuals going on with the cover so I decided to narrow it down to more of a simple but still eye
catching look. In the authors name, instead of using the letter O I replaced it with a crosshairs that is used
in the scope for a sniper since this book has a lot to do with murder with weapons.
